What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve, ability to make decisions, Ability to use hand tools, handle and successfully complete basic railcar repairs and inspections, work safely and follow proper procedures, Valid Driver’s License, able to stoop for extended periods, routinely move from kneeling to standing positions, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform work at elevated heights, work in confined spaces, enter through 18" diameter, perform a FIT Test, wear a respirator, pass company physical exam, pass drug screening, pass background check

familiarity with AAR rules and regulations

Conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars

Performs repairs as necessary

Maintains all certifications
Completes required certifications
