What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve, ability to make decisions, Ability to use hand tools, basic railcar repairs and inspections, customer relations, interpersonal skills, work as a part of a team, work safely, follow proper procedures, work in all types of weather conditions, Valid Driver’s License, stoop for extended periods, routinely move from kneeling to standing positions, wear a respirator, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform work at elevated heights, work in confined spaces, pass company physical exam, traveling to customer sites with a company vehicle
Nice to Have
Welding experience is a huge plus
What You'll Do.
Conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars
Conducts railcar inspections to ensure compliance
Performs repairs as necessary
Meets customer expectations and requirements
Ensures customer satisfaction of work
work order information is complete
Maintains all certifications
Complete and maintain required certifications
Performing welding repairs
Other work-related tasks as assigned
