What You'll Do.
Safely operate locomotives and rail equipment
Coordinate railcar movement
Perform railcar switching and placement
Interpret train orders
Inspect locomotives prior to operation
Operate hand and ground throw switches
Control equipment movement
Couple and uncouple railcars
Apply and release hand brakes
Observe tracks and surroundings
Handle train equipment safely
Assist in training new employees
Complete reports related to delays
Lubricate and inspect locomotive components
Wear required personal protective equipment
Follow company operating procedures
Perform additional operational duties
