Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver’s license, Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check, Dependable with reliable daily transportation, Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment, Ability to prioritize tasks and follow direction from leadership, Ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
What You'll Do.
Inspect locomotives before operation
Operate locomotive controls under supervision
Interpret train orders
Assist with switching
and movement of railcars
and trackside equipment
Control movement of equipment using radio
Couple and uncouple railcars
Apply and release hand brakes
Monitor track conditions and report hazards
Assist in training new employees
Prepare reports related to delays
or operational issues
Perform routine lubrication and basic maintenance tasks
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided for individuals who are reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn.
