What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or equivalent), Minimum 15 years of experience in the AECO industry or relevant field, Minimum 10 years of experience in rail projects and/or rail operations in Dubai, the GCC, and/or internationally, Extensive experience in rail communications systems design and implementation on large-scale infrastructure projects, integration with signalling, OCC, SCADA, and other rail systems, Proven ability to manage both technical and management aspects of complex rail or transportation projects, coordination with multiple stakeholders, understanding of international standards and best practices for rail communications systems, excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
Nice to Have
Master’s degree or professional certification, membership of a recognized engineering institute, Experience in airport-integrated rail systems, exposure to passenger information systems, operational communications, BHS interfaces, leadership and team management skills, ability to mentor and develop design professionals, Excellent problem-solving abilities, Exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, Proactive and adaptable approach
