What They're Looking For.
Must Have
ARRT Certification, state RT license, licensed in radiology, BLS certification
Nice to Have
Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Interventional Radiology certificate
What You'll Do.
Perform interventional radiology procedures
Operate radiological equipment
Prepare patient and procedure room
Explain procedure to patient
Assist with patient preparation
Perform patient transfers
Act as scrub assistant
Maintain sterile technique
Comply with HIPPA policies
Draw up intravenous medication
Archive images to CD/DVD
Provide quality patient care
Maintain medical records
Maintain environmental integrity
Dispose of hazardous waste
Utilize supplies and equipment
Communicate with physicians
Ensure billing accuracy
Assist with inventory
Monitor radiation badges
Participate in surveys
