Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
Keep the work area clean and orderly
Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
Handle the necessary paperwork
filing and other office procedures in accordance with department policies
Keep current with the latest trends in technology and radiological procedures
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and professional appearance and conduct

We look forward to hearing from you! **Position Highlights** Provide PRN coverage based on department needs (weekday/weekend call coverage). **JOB SUMMARY** The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** * Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures according to establish protocols. * Ensure quality imaging and patient safety. * Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams. * Follow radiation safety and infection control standards. * Keeps the work area clean and orderly. * Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS * Handles the necessary paperwork, filing and other office procedures in accordance with department policies. * Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care. * Keeps current with the latest trends in technology and radiological procedures. * Maintains confidentiality of patient information and professional appearance and conduct. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** None. **EDUCATION** **LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION** Licensed by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must be eligible for ARRT certification.
