Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology, Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date, BLS required, Minimum of two years’ direct patient care experience
What You'll Do.
Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician
Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity
Prepares and administers contrast media as required
Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary
Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills
Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards

**Department:** 09127 WFBMG University Group Practice - WFBMG Ambulatory Operations **Status:** Part time **Benefits Eligible:** No **Hou****rs Per Week:** 0 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** The Ambulatory Radiology Float Pool provides staffing support for ambulatory clinics across the entire Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist region. This role primarily supports orthopedic clinics; however, there are often needs in urgent care and family medicine areas as well. Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ direct patient care experience. In addition to base pay, an hourly float pool premium is applicable. **Pay Range** $26.55 - $39.85 **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:** * **Location:** Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC * **Shift Schedule:** PRN - As Needed **YOU’LL NEED:** * Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology * Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
