**Department:** 09127 WFBMG University Group Practice - WFBMG Ambulatory Operations **Status:** Part time **Benefits Eligible:** No **Hou****rs Per Week:** 0 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** The Ambulatory Radiology Float Pool provides staffing support for ambulatory clinics across the entire Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist region. This role primarily supports orthopedic clinics; however, there are often needs in urgent care and family medicine areas as well. Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ direct patient care experience. In addition to base pay, an hourly float pool premium is applicable. **Pay Range** $26.55 - $39.85 **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:** * **Location:** Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC * **Shift Schedule:** PRN - As Needed **YOU’LL NEED:** * Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology * Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** * Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. * Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. * Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. * Prepares and administers contrast media as required. * Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary. * Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. * Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards. **SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:** Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served. _DISCLAIMER_ _All responsibilities and requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with di
