High School Diploma, Graduate of approved Radiologic Technologist program, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ARRT registration, State licensure as Radiologic Technologist

What You'll Do.

Deliver imaging services

Apply X-ray technology

Perform Medical Assistant duties

Apply ionizing radiation

Perform and analyze patient x-rays

Report results to Medical Providers

Provide administrative support

Support Medical Providers

Support Medical Assistants

Inform technical staff of patient flow

Prepare patients for examination

Conduct interviews to verify patient information

Record medical history

Confirm purpose of visit

Perform preliminary physical tests

Conduct point of care testing

Provide patient information to providers

Maintain medical records

Scan charts to patient files

Conduct courtesy call-backs
