What You'll Do.
Apply x-ray energy for diagnosis
Assist in diagnosis or treatment
Ensure patients are positioned correctly
Protect patients during use
Push patient in wheelchair
Inform technical staff of patient flow
Prepare patients for examination
Verify patient information
Record medical history
Confirm purpose of visit
Perform preliminary physical test
Escalate critical cases to provider
Conduct point of care testing
Provide patient information to provider
Maintain medical records
Scan charts to patient files
Conduct courtesy call-backs
Perform and document daily controls
Perform calibration of equipment
Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
Perform preventive maintenance
Submit repair tickets
Determine procedures or views for diagnoses
Support clinic operations
Explain procedures to patients
Ensure patient comfort and safety
Answer patient questions
Accurately positioning patients and equipment
Select proper ionizing factors
Adjust/set radiographic controls
Capture clear diagnostic images
Perform routine maintenance of X-ray equipment
Clean X-ray equipment
Manage necessary supplies
Adhere to radiation safety protocols
Minimize exposure to patients and staff
Maintain accurate patient records
