What You'll Do.
Perform clerical/reception duties
Operate paging system
Assist physicians and radiologists
Greet arriving patients
Process requisitions/orders
Organize and maintain files
Deliver and retrieve films from storage
Assist clinical personnel transferring patients
Assist medical records reconciliation
Contact patients prior to scheduled day
Provide exam information
Answer patient questions
Refer questions to technologist
Pre-authorize scheduled patient exams
Assist with staff/student on-the-job training
Assist with staff/student orientation
Follow procedures for creating and dispatching CDs/copies
Assist technologist in fluoroscopic
nuclear medicine areas
Assist technologist in positioning patients for mammograms
Assist technologist in positioning patients for general radiographic
Assist technologist in positioning patients for portable radiographs
