Eligibility Requirements

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2+ years of experience with coding in one or more of the following: MATLAB, C++, or Fortran, 2+ years of experience working with computational electromagnetic software such as FEKO, Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and track filters, Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, Secret clearance, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice to Have

Experience with engineering and mathematics, Experience with modeling and simulation, Experience with Linux, Knowledge of U. S. and foreign combat weapon systems, including airborne and ground-based air defense systems, Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, TS/SCI clearance, Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

What You'll Do.

develop the cutting-edge technology used to support the warfighter and maintain national security

breaking down the Air Force’s toughest challenges

communicating the essential results of that work to their leadership

modeling foreign threat radar

and communication systems

perform detailed analyses

evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems

survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios

develop radar and antenna models

perform modeling tasks

including radar signal processing code development

development and refinement of weapon models

determine what tactics

and procedures to improve survivability and vulnerability against foreign threat systems

making an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems

performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients

develop the detailed models and simulations required
