We are seeking an innovative and detail‑oriented R&D Thermodynamical Engineer to join our air to water heat pump development design team in Vacarisses, Spain. As a key member of our research and development department, you will play a crucial role in driving technological advancements and product innovation. The role will involve activities within the scope of R&D, including: * Conceptualization, specification, and development of new designs. * Follow‑up, validation, and technical approval of prototypes and their performance in various laboratory environments in collaboration with our R&D Centre in Aveiro (Portugal) The main areas of responsibility will include: * Thermodynamic analysis of heat exchangers, refrigerant and water cycles. * Material cost estimation and analysis. * System regulation and control strategies. * Product specification, including performance and efficiency calculations. The role also requires knowledge, monitoring, and assimilation of the technical regulations applicable to product design, including product certification across different European programs. (Familiarity with the European ErP Directive will be considered an asset.) The candidate must be able to take ownership of responsibilities, demonstrate sound judgement and initiative across the different work areas, and be capable of assessing both the feasibility of new designs and the outcomes of validation tests for final approval. ## Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. * Proficiency in simulation software (Matlab, Simulink, etc...). * Experience with data analysis and statistical methods. * Demonstrated knowledge of engineering design principles. * E
