Must Have
~4 years of hands-on development experience, prior experience in a managerial role, Passion for development, drive to continuously learn and improve, proven ability to lead teams with a clear business focus, prioritizing effectively, driving projects that deliver meaningful impact, Open-minded and flexible, business-first mindset, deep and versatile engineering challenges, business impact, critical thinking, problem solving, seasoned in conflict resolution, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
What You'll Do.
Own the Core: Develop and sustain our platform
taking full ownership of the features essential to Wix’s strategic growth within the Channels domain
Foster a culture of continuous learning
evaluate the evolving AI landscape to select the right tech stack
mentor team members on AI literacy
oversee the ethical and secure implementation of generative tools
leading the entire development evolution
from feature ideation and planning to design reviews
final word on system health
owning the monitoring strategy
leading the corrective post-mortem discussions
Act as the technical bridge between a diverse group of stakeholders
navigating both the Channels organization and the wider Wix ecosystem to bring cross-company features to life
serving as the lead technical authority behind the unit’s success
build and scale joint product experiences with market-leading partners
creating new growth engines
unlocking value for new and existing user bases
cross-platform solutions
and go-to-market into a single
lead complex initiatives end-to-end - from early discovery through solution architecture and execution
