What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Successfully completed studies (Master/Diplom) in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Informatics, or a comparable technical/scientific field, Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Proficiency in databases such as SQL, Experience in parsing complex log files, Experience in automating data pipelines, Experience in working with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Data Lakes), Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), Understanding of UX design, Understanding of data integrity, Experience in analytics or system development, Ability to quickly understand complex scientific questions, Experience in leading technical projects, Familiarity with agile methods and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira), Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Domain knowledge ideally in the area of CLD and Diagnostics, Knowledge in Machine Learning, Knowledge in Generative AI
What You'll Do.
Shaping the data-driven vision within the Core Lab Digitalization team
Coaching the organization in data-driven working methods
Defining semantic standards and data models in collaboration with IT and central units
Ensuring laboratory information flows precisely
and securely into the cloud infrastructure
Contributing to the functional further development of existing software
Identifying and extracting valuable data assets
Linking raw data with their scientific context
Conceiving intuitive dashboards with BI software for self-service analyses
Transforming laboratory processes through consistent automation
Preparing complex technical issues for management decision-making
Presenting progress and concepts in expert committees
Driving projects independently to success

Durch Deinen Fokus auf automatisierte Datenflüsse leistest Du einen entscheidenden Beitrag, um den Wandel hin zu einer hocheffizienten, datengetriebenen Forschungsumgebung zu vollenden. ****Das erwartet Dich in der Rolle**** * Als Teil des Core Lab Digitalisierungsteams gestaltest du die datengetriebene Vision mit. Durch gezieltes Coaching und „Organizational Storytelling“ begeisterst Du die Organisation für datengetriebene Arbeitsweisen.
