Must Have
Minimum Grade 4/C or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English, general education to understand and comply with extensive Health & Safety and Quarry Regulations, EPIC certification for mobile plant operation (or willingness to achieve this), NVQ Level 2 in Mobile Plant Operations (required after EPIC certification)
What You'll Do.
Operate mobile and static plant safely
efficiently and only within your current certification
Carry out routine maintenance including refuelling
greasing and cleaning in line with manufacturer guidelines and company standards
Ensure all plant is operated in the most economical manner
Complete daily inspections of mobile plant and maintain accurate records
Report any plant defects or issues promptly to the General Foreman
Submit near‑miss reports and support a safety culture on site
Undertake additional duties within the scope of the role as reasonably required
