What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Engineering, Quantum Information Science, Nanoscience, or a related field, Hands-on experience with lasers, optical setups, and laboratory instrumentation, Experience with automation, data acquisition, and data logging in Python
What You'll Do.
support photonics characterization efforts
contribute to the development and validation of photonic devices and systems
work hands-on with optical setups and advanced characterization tools
execute measurement protocols
extract performance metrics from devices and experimental systems
conducting optical microscopy measurements on various material platforms
photonic devices and chips
and implementing protocols for precise and repeatable measurements
and calibrating optical measurement systems to ensure stable and reliable performance
supporting data acquisition
and extraction of key device performance metrics
