Full Job Description
MidPlaza Bali is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor (MEP), you will be responsible for estimating and controlling the costs of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. Your role will involve analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, preparing cost estimates, and managing project budgets for MEP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP systems, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of construction costing and budgeting. **Responsibilities:** * Review project specifications and drawings to understand MEP project scope and requirements. * Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for MEP cost estimation. * Prepare cost estimates and material quantities for MEP projects. * Analyze MEP project costs, identify areas of potential savings, and provide cost control recommendations. * Prepare and maintain MEP project budgets, monitoring actual costs against the budget. * Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents for MEP systems. * Review and evaluate subcontractor quotes for MEP systems and negotiate pricing. * Assist in the preparation of progress payments and variations for MEP systems. * Provide support and advice to project teams on MEP cost-related matters. * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MEP cost control and estimation. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) in the construction industry. * Strong knowledge of MEP construction costs, materials, and methods. * Proficient in MEP quantity surveying software, CAD, and Microsoft Office. * Excellent analytical and numerical skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team.
