What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years as Cost Manager, Diploma / Degree in relevant field, Written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English, Presentation abilities, Highly organized with analytical skills, Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications, Computer skills with emphasis on spreadsheet programs, Working knowledge of architectural/Interior design drawings, Working knowledge of planning concepts, Independent, self-motivated, flexible, responsible, Willing to work to deadline, Willing to work within time constraints, Track record in delivering high quality services
Nice to Have
MRICS is preferred, Knowledge of other estimating software is a plus
What You'll Do.
Assist in establishing client requirements
Prepare bills of quantities
Coordinate with Design
Construction Management and Finance
Assist in pricing and analysis of costs
Scrutinize and review tender drawings/documents
Identify additional BOQ items/scope
Incorporate within proposal or tender offer
Lead and undertake feasibility cost estimates
Lead and undertake detailed cost plans
Understand & communicate risk associated with design proposals
Liaise with parties regarding ambiguities
Collaborate with procurement team for strategies
Collaborate with procurement team for tender documentation
Collaborate with procurement team for RFP documentation
Analyze and compare quotations
Participate in reconciliations with contractors
Participate in reconciliations with subcontractors
Provide value engineering services
Provide design option reviews
Identify better buying opportunities
Identify value management opportunities
Identify supply chain opportunities
Prepare project budgets
Maintain accurate cost plans
Submit contract variations
Negotiate contract variations
Submit additional works
Negotiate additional works

You will be reporting into a Commercial Lead of the PDS team.
