What They're Looking For.

Must Have

MSc/PhD in a quantitative field (e. g. , Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science), programming skills (C++, Python or similar), Deep understanding of stochastic calculus, numerical methods, and derivatives pricing, Experience with equity derivatives (vanilla and exotics)

Nice to Have

hybrid product experience is a advantage, Familiarity with market data sources (e. g. , Bloomberg, Reuters) and calibration techniques, Previous experience in an equity front-office quant role or equity model valuation team is preferred

What You'll Do.

Development and implementation of quantitative models and strategies

and statistical modelling

Provision of expertise on quantitative methodologies

technological advancements

and industry best practices

Develop and maintain pricing and risk models for equity derivatives

Implement models in C++

or proprietary libraries used by front-office desks

Calibrate models to market data and perform quantitative analyses to support trading strategies

Ensure model governance compliance

including documentation and validation support

Contribute to innovation in pricing methodologies

and model efficiency improvements

Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing for complex structured products

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Working closely with sales teams to identify clients' needs and develop customised solutions; Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions; Lead a team performing complex tasks; Collaborate with traders, structurers, and risk managers to deliver robust analytical tools and pricing solutions; Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function; Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy; Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc). to solve problems creatively and effectively

Effective communication skills with ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders; Communicate complex information

Process & Methodology

Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members through structured assignments, identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects
