Ability to work flexible hours or shifts, Compressed work schedule requires four (4) ten (10) hour days, Shift Hours: 7:30 pm - 6:00 am, Regularly requested to perform work on a computer inside and outside of the work environment, Occasionally requested to come in contact with wet environmental conditions, Frequently hear noise while performing task in the work environment, Regularly requested to stand, sit, walk, climb and stoop, Frequently requested to balance, kneel, crouch, reach, and squat, Frequently requested to grasp and manipulate items
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of experience in quality, industrial or manufacturing processes, Ability to work flexible hours or shifts, Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U. S without sponsorship
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the practical application of manufacturing process and engine technology, Knowledge of the dynamic performance requirements, test setup and monitoring, and problem resolution of internal combustion engines, Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization, Good written and verbal communication skills, Basic knowledge of geometric tolerating and related gauge, Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite, Familiar with plant operations and equipment, Knowledge of MTU components and products, knowledge of internal combustion engine performance requirements, Working knowledge of gauge and test equipment
What You'll Do.
Assist Quality Engineers in coordinating quality control objectives
Implement quality control activities to resolve production problems
Maximize product reliability
Coordinate with Test engineer to perform test inspections
Perform audits on test fuel
oil filtration systems
Analyze/Validate the test data
Process Test Deviations on Quality issues
Support Military inspections
Complete required paperwork to ship engine
Support Tool and Gauge calibration
Improve calibration processes
Audit calibration processes for efficiency
Perform audits on Paint
Final and Preventative maintenance
Investigate line calls
Assist in determination of root cause
Assist in OPTICS audit
Verify corrective measures
Support monthly military customer audits
Provide accurate data to quality department
Monitor calibration program
Inspect gauges and measuring equipment
Keep quality abreast of progress
Implement good health and safety practices
Develop quality audits of production
Implement good housekeeping practices
Promote a compliance culture
