Full Job Description
**A Day in Your Life at MKS:** As an IQC/FQA Technician you will ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of manufacturing processes, supplier materials, and final products while supporting cross-departmental collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Quality Engineering. **You Will Make an Impact By:** * Monitor manufacturing and production processes to ensure products meet specifications. * Maintain accurate quality control documentation, including inspection and test records. * Inspect finished products for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Evaluate the quality of raw materials and suppliers. * Coordinate with other departments and provide technical guidance on quality matters. * Perform initial detailed inspections of incoming or purged parts, materials, components, assemblies, and equipment, documenting results. * Oversee the collection and disposition of purged materials. * Determine or assist in defining methods, sequences, and procedures for inspections. * Generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to address drawing or specification discrepancies. * Adapt inspection measuring devices and procedures when necessary. **Skills You Bring:** * 4+ years of relevant experience. * Technical degree (Mechanical/Electrical preferred). **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** * Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time * Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination * Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand * Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level • Must be able to exchange accurate information * Operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment * Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet
