So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too. **About the job** The Quality Technician for the Brazed Heat Exchanger (BHE) business unit performs and documents general to specific inspection and test activities of product at various stages in the manufacturing process. Inspections and test activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures to support industry, Alfa Laval BHE, and customer specific quality requirements. Other responsibilities include: Receiving * Receipt inspection of incoming material and vendor fabricated components to verify compliance with purchase order requirements. * Review Material Test Reports * Material identification and marking. * Documentation of receipt inspection. In-process Assembly and Final Inspection * Material Verification. * Pre-Assembly - Weld joint preparation and fit-up inspection. * Assembly dimensional verifications. * Grid Assembly Inspection * Finish QC Tester verification * Verification of product to ASME Section VIII specifications * Final inspection of product prior to shipping * Shipping documentation auditing Quality Assurance * Document and verify correction of nonconforming conditions. * Document inspection and testing activities in accordance with established procedures.
