What They're Looking For.
Must Have
HS Diploma with relevant Quality experience is required
What You'll Do.
Perform detailed inspections of aircraft parts
and installations to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards
Operate penetrant testing equipment
Conduct dimensional and functional inspections
Support the repair and verification of aircraft engines
Work 2nd shift hours (2: 30pm – 11pm) Monday -Friday
Work 1st shift hours for training purposes Monday – Friday (6:30am-3pm)
Conduct first article
and final inspections
and penetrant testing
Inspect returned and repaired components in accordance with FAA and company requirements
issuing return-to-service documentation as needed
and tooling accuracy using blueprints
and precision measurement instruments
Perform receiving inspections to validate incoming materials and documentation for compliance
and fabricated parts for finish quality
and structural integrity
Set up and operate inspection tools and equipment
including optical and mechanical measurement systems
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in compliance with quality and EH&S procedures
Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying nonconformances and recommending corrective actions
Collaborate with production
and quality teams to resolve inspection findings and ensure product conformity

Represent Collins Aerospace during audits or customer visits
Performs all other duties as assigned
