**GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION** Accomplish Quality Assurance objectives by auditing processes, conducting product analysis, and documenting results. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Communicate audit findings and opportunities for improvement to Manufacturing and Quality. * Perform product and process audit inspection and first piece inspection layouts. * Conduct data mining and data analysis. * Calibrate gauges and use necessary inspection equipment and gauging for machined components. * Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests & exploring opportunities to add value to processes. * Work well with others; be a team player. * Understands and follows the Jackson site’s environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities. * Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
