working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards, and procedures, team-focused, interpersonal and leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, willing to work extended or flexible hours, willing to work in various locations within and outside the facility, pay good attention to detail, good human relations, leadership skills, and a maturity of judgment, good organizational and problem-solving skills, attentive to minor details, effective communicator of ideas and concepts, High School Diploma or GED, Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or or three to five years related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience, Understanding of customer quality specifications, Working knowledge of CMM programming, Microsoft application certification, Statistical Process Control including FARO CAM2 SPC Process Control, Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, 2-5 years Quality Tech, CMM, Manufacturing, Quality Auditor, Leadership, Operations, CNC experience
Nice to Have
Forklift and crane certification will be an asset, Quality Training, TS16949 Internal Auditor experience, Robot Programming, CNC, GD&T
What You'll Do.
Assist with coordination and leading of quality lab activities
Run and maintain coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
Run and maintain OPTIGO
Run and maintain other measurement tools and equipment
Perform dimensional layouts via CMM or other means
Ensure customer and Quality Assurance standards are met
Lead the Quality Team on your shift
Coordinate daily activities
Support / Perform as Quality techs
Support / Perform as Quality Auditors
Escalate Quality Deviations to Production Leadership
Escalate Quality Deviations to Quality leadership
Perform layout inspections on product
Maintain annual part layout
Maintain annual fixture gage reproducibility and repeatability studies
Monitor applicable CMM Trackers
Prioritize and run weekly audits
Optimize machine uptime
Ensure machines run 8 hours during shift
Help maintain test equipment and storage area
Prepare and maintain programs from layout inspections
Prepare and maintain reports from layout inspections
Program the Opti-Cell/Optigo
Measure stampings and assemblies
Provide timely feedback on measurement results
Export the data to the appropriate location
Initial set-up of the equipment
Take the required views for part verification
Load the cells with the fixtures and parts
View the output image
Notify appropriate Team Leader or Supervisor of discrepancies
Unload the parts and fixture after the operation
Maintain NCM log and NCM cage
Help Quality auditors contain production parts
Create quality alerts
Exercise confidentiality in sharing dimensional feedback
Daily review of 5S and housekeeping
Promote good housekeeping
Perform other duties as required

Team & Collaboration
Lead the Quality Team on your shift; Escalate Quality Deviations to Production Leadership; Escalate Quality Deviations to Quality leadership; Help Quality auditors to contain of production parts as needed; Notify the appropriate Team Leader or Supervisor if there are any discrepancies
