What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-2 days in office per week, Weekend coverage rotation, Organ/Tissue Experience, Computer & Application Literacy, Workload Management and Organization, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Minimum one years’ experience in organ/tissue banking, medical records or Quality Assurance
Nice to Have
Undergraduate degree, Working knowledge of medical terminology
What You'll Do.
Ensure compliance with SOPs
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform QA review of donor records
Collect and document relevant information
Distribute relevant information
Assure regulatory compliance
Provide donor information to processors
Provide donor information to transplant centers
Develop a staffing schedule
Ensure QSS coverage 7 days a week
Complete tissue donor record review
Complete organ donor record review
Complete additional information requests
Maintain Electronic Medical Records access
Communicate effectively within NEDS
Communicate with outside agencies
Act as a resource to employees
Maintain confidentiality of information
Attend department meetings
Implement Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement plan
Ensure accuracy of records
Ensure security of records
Ensure confidentiality of records
Ensure availability of records
