S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, Lawfully admitted into the U. S. as refugee, Granted asylum in the U. S.
Nice to Have
Experience in program or project management, Experience in problem solving and data analytics, ASQ - Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ - Certified Quality Manager, 5+ years using data to find root cause, Lean/Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) skills
What You'll Do.
Oversee and provide daily direction to quality inspectors
Prioritize work as needed
Determine path forward in ambiguous situations
Hire and develop a Quality Team
Identify staffing needs
Hold a high bar in new employee selection
Develop team members’ technical skills
Grow existing team members’ career development
and iterate onboarding and training plan
Lead Lean and 5S activities
Drive efficiency within Quality Inspection Center
Reduce non-value-added time
Lead Root Cause Corrective Action investigations
Partner with assembly technicians
Partner with engineering
Partner with other stakeholders
Implement necessary improvements
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities
Ensure defective parts are contained
Identify defective parts
Disposition defective parts
Execute corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
Manage quality records
Manage departmental procedures
Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance to business requirements
Aid in development of Kuiper QMS
Aid in maintenance of Kuiper QMS
Provide guidance for QMS enhancements
Provide guidance for development improvements
Improve product quality
Serve as primary point of contact for Receiving
Provide status updates
Communicate to stakeholders
Manage workload into the QIC
Lead strategic efforts for setup of inspection capabilities
Lead strategic efforts for transfer of inspection capabilities
