We’re hiring for a Quality Mechanical Inspector Level 2 position in Hawthorne, CA. This is an opportunity in which you will be supporting the first or second shift. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! ## Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections—visual, dimensional, and physical—on components, assemblies, and raw materials throughout various production phases (including in-process, final, and first article) to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. Operate and utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, height gauges, and profilometers to validate part conformity. Conduct surface plate inspections and statistical lot sampling based on quality requirements. Apply sharp visual inspection skills to identify workmanship issues and product defects, including damage such as burrs, scratches, loose fasteners, dings, and inadequate edge distances. Identify and categorize nonconformities and confirm that corrective actions or rework have been properly executed.
