Must be able to visualize solutions using 3D design concepts and manufacturing methods, Knowledge of machine tool processes and capabilities, Able to research and implement cost effective solutions, Light physical demands, some reaching, standing, bending, lifting, and prolonged sitting, The ability to drive between five local manufacturing facilities, Clean driving record required, Maintain regular and reliable attendance, typical hours for this position are 45-55 weekly, additional hours as needed, Be able to travel overnight domestically and internationally as required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of combined customer-facing and operational experience in the industrial manufacturing market, knowledge of QC processes (8D, 5-Whys, PPAP/APQP, 5+6S), Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field
Nice to Have
Experience with heat transfer products and sheet metal fabrication processes
What You'll Do.
Manage the DRC Quality Assurance program
Establish working relationships with customers
Address returned goods
Handle warranty claims
Work with suppliers on non-conforming products
Establish quality-focused environment
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Build and maintain working relationships with customers
Establish and maintain standardized processes
Act as DRC customer contact
Own communications with customers
Oversee Quality personnel
Accountable for decision-making on warranty dispositions
Track the cost of warranty items
Create metrics and reports
Develop and implement strategies and processes
Lead and direct multi-departmental work
Provide feedback for continuous improvement
Perform supplier quality audits
Establish and enforce quality standards
and improve internal audit program
Establish and maintain ISO 9001 compliant system
Participate in ISO Internal Audit activities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work with production department; Work closely with the Quality Engineer and Field Service Team; Perform supplier quality audits and onboarding, in collaboration with purchasing and engineering teams; Work closely with Quality Engineer
Communication Scope
Excellent interpersonal; customer service; both written and verbal communication skills
Process & Methodology
Lead and direct multi-departmental work for execution of warranty fixes, Lead and direct multi-departmental work for root cause analysis and execution of countermeasures
