What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of combined customer-facing and operational experience in the industrial manufacturing market, knowledge of QC processes (8D, 5-Whys, PPAP/APQP, 5+6S), Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field

Nice to Have

Experience with heat transfer products and sheet metal fabrication processes

What You'll Do.

Manage the DRC Quality Assurance program

Establish working relationships with customers

Address returned goods

Handle warranty claims

Work with suppliers on non-conforming products

Establish quality-focused environment

Participate in continuous improvement activities

Reduce waste caused by poor quality

Build and maintain working relationships with customers

Establish and maintain standardized processes

Act as customer contact for inquiries

Own communications with customers regarding warrantable issues

Oversee Quality personnel

Accountable for decision-making on warrantable issue dispositions

Track the cost of warranty items

Create metrics and reports

Execute interventions

Develop and implement strategies and processes

Improve efficiency and effectiveness

Lead multi-departmental work for warranty fixes

Lead multi-departmental work for root cause analysis

Provide feedback for continuous improvement

Perform supplier quality audits and onboarding

Establish and enforce quality standards

and improve internal audit program

Establish and maintain ISO 9001 compliant system

Participate in ISO Internal Audit activities

Team & Collaboration

Work with suppliers; Work with the production department; Work closely with the Quality Engineer; Work with Field Service Team; Collaborate with purchasing and engineering teams; Work closely with Quality Engineer
