What You'll Achieve.
Assures that all products produced and shipped conform to the applicable specifications and quality levels; Ensures the plant meets its stated business objectives; Ensures effective ongoing product quality; Ensures effective corrective action is taken to prevent reoccurrence

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS degree in quality assurance, engineering, or related practical science, 4+ years’ experience in quality engineering working in manufacturing environment, Supervisory skills in a team based environment, Sound computer skills, comfortable with a variety of software applications, Experience in a manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
Wire and cable experience a plus, Optical Fiber or Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing experience a plus, Six Sigma certification a plus, ASQ Certification a plus
What You'll Do.
and facilitate Quality Assurance
Engage in Continuous Improvement programs
Assure products conform to specifications
Maintain plant's TL9000/ISO 9001 accreditation
Support ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications
Develop and implement Quality Assurance programs
Manage and direct required testing
Provide analyzed data reports
Recruit quality assurance associates
Accountable for the Quality Management System
Interface with customers and regulatory agencies
Investigate field issues and customer returns
Ensure effective operation of the plant
Provide effective communication on quality matters
Accountable for the QA Type Testing Laboratory
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
As part of the Claremont Management Team; Interfaces with customers and regulatory agency inspection representatives; Provides effective communication to internal and external customers
Communication Scope
Good written and oral communication skills; Provides effective communication to internal and external customers
Process & Methodology
Solid planning, execution, and administrative skills
