What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2+ years of management or supervisory experience, 3+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment, working knowledge of PPAP, working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Whys, etc.), working knowledge of Control Plans, working knowledge of Process Capability (CPK/PPK), Experience managing customer complaints, Experience managing CAPA processes, Proven ability to lead teams, Proven ability to drive measurable quality improvements, communication skills with the ability to effectively engage production floor employees

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field, Experience in industrial, materials, or process manufacturing environments, Familiarity with quality management systems, Familiarity with auditing processes, Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.)

What You'll Do.

Leading all quality functions within a thermal engineered materials manufacturing environment

Ensuring product quality

Driving continuous improvement in quality systems

Fostering a quality culture across the plant

Lead and manage all site quality activities

Ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements

Supervise and develop a team of Quality Inspectors

Oversight of incoming material inspections

Oversight of testing/calibration activities

Actively engage on the production floor to build relationships with operators and promote a positive quality culture

and update work instructions and quality documentation

Manage customer complaints

ensuring timely response

Lead root cause investigations using structured methodologies

Own and manage CAPA processes

Develop and implement scrap reduction plans

Establish and maintain Control Plans

Monitor and analyze process capability

Support and participate in PPAP processes

Track and report key quality KPIs

Ensure robust documentation and standardization of quality processes

Identify trends and proactively address systemic quality issues

Partner with operations and engineering to improve process capability and product consistency
