What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline., Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, or Quality Systems roles in the semiconductor/photonics or electronics industry., knowledge of ISO quality management systems., ISO Lead Auditor certification or formal internal auditor experience., Experience working in a fabless semiconductor organization or managing quality with outsourced manufacturing partners., Experience supporting internal audits and external certification audits., Familiarity with quality tools such as CAPA, 8D problem solving, root cause analysis, and statistical data analysis., analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail., Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams., Experience conducting internal audits and supplier quality audits., Experience working with semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly, and test processes., Experience managing quality interactions with semiconductor foundries and OSAT partners., Experience with quality tools such as FMEA/8D/SPC/Control Plan/Six Sigma, Proficient in English and Mandarin, as required for working with our global team frequently
What You'll Do.
Develop and lead the quality strategy in line with business goals.
Maintain QMS effectiveness and compliance with ISO and relevant standards.
Set and enforce company-wide quality policies and procedures.
Regularly update them to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Conduct internal and supplier audits.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain all required certifications.
Oversee supplier quality programs.
Collaborate with procurement on vendor assessments and material quality requirements.
Implement robust quality assurance and testing processes to ensure product specifications and performance expectations are met.
Define and track key quality KPIs.
Report trends and improvement opportunities to senior management.
Lead improvement initiatives using tools like Six Sigma
and FMEA to enhance product and process quality.
Work closely with sales and business teams to align quality efforts with customer needs.
Manage and resolve customer quality concerns promptly.
