**Job Title:** Quality Lab Technician III - Back Half Day Shift **Job Description:** **The Role:** Our site in Hillsboro is seeking a Quality Laboratory Technician to join our team. The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for supporting testing of incoming raw materials, in process samples, and finished products using advanced metrology tools while also supporting continuous improvement activities. **Shift Details** : 5:30 AM - 6PM Thursday - Saturday with every other Wednesday alternating. **What You’ll Do:** * Laboratory testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of advanced metrology tools * Follow work instructions for laboratory test methods; identify and implement method improvements * Record all data and results in specified data management systems accurately to ensure traceability and data defensibility * Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment (6S guidelines) * Maintain laboratory instruments, conduct long term stability measurements, and troubleshoot equipment issues * Resolve testing or data issues by examining and evaluating large datasets to identify corrective actions * Strive for operational excellence, collaboration, positive team morale, and continuous improvement * Contribute to the creation, revision, and review of laboratory work instructions, including evaluation of procedural errors, ambiguities, or inefficiencies **What We Seek:** * A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years previous experience in an industrial laboratory or an associate’s degree in a relevant field of study with 1+ years previous experience in an industrial laboratory is desired * General knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices * The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated and disciplined, and adaptable to change (shifting priorities) * An individual with a quality mindset, strong customer focus, good written and oral communication sk
