Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public., Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions., Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software., Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages., Ability to write simple correspondence., Read and understand visual aid., Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions., Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables., Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos., Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals., Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
What You'll Do.
Perform complex inspection procedures on circuit boards and assemblies.
Ensure quality levels are met at pre-ship and final stages.
Verify correct machine set-up prior to running assemblies.
Select and read appropriate documentation.
Select inspection method.
Apply knowledge of electrical principles.
Interpret Jabil Quality Control Standards.
Access customer quality inspection systems.
Communicate with customer regarding inspection and quality issues.
Determine cause and effect of defects.
Refer findings to manufacturing facilitators.
Review and approve solutions.
Refer unacceptable responses to Quality Supervisor.
Act as final checkpoint for finished goods.
Train other employees in Quality Control processes.
Ensure parts conform to customer quality standards.
Move parts to workstation for inspection.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Communicates with customer regarding inspection and quality issues.; Refers findings to manufacturing facilitators for correction.; Reviews and approves solutions or refers unacceptable responses to Quality Supervisor for further action.; Trains other employees in Quality Control processes and procedures.
