Must Have
Experience inspecting electronic components / mechanical systems, Proficiency in dimensional inspection of precision tolerance parts, knowledge and hands-on experience with all inspection tools, Ability to understand and interpret complex GD&T requirements and validate complex assemblies, High school diploma or equivalent required, Minimum 3–5 years of structural welding inspection experience, Ability to read diagram for wiring assembly
Nice to Have
Technical training in welding inspection, Experience inspecting structural steel fabrication and welded assemblies, 8+ years experience inspecting electromechanical systems, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), VT Level II certification, NDE certifications (MT/PT preferred), OSHA safety training, Structural steel fabrication experience
What You'll Do.
Ensure materials and workmanship meet applicable standards
Perform incoming inspection from external providers
Perform in-process and final inspection
Compile final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages
Verify inspection equipment capability
Verify inspection methodology adequacy
Audit and validate execution to the inspection plan
Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress
equipment quality performance
Conduct periodic quality audits of supplier's factory
Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance
Ensuring supplier’s quality control system document the findings
Provide customer witness for test scripts
Validate equipment acceptability before shipment
Inspection of rivets and mechanical assembly
Perform visual inspection (VT) of structural welds
Identify weld discontinuities
Review welding documentation
Read diagram for wiring assembly

Our associates are expert quality assurance professionals with broad experience and local knowledge who can represent our clients on-demand and on-site faster than our competitors. We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Inspector with some welding background to ensure the quality, compliance, and integrity of electromechanical components and assemblies. This role is responsible for performing inspections, verifying documentation, and ensuring all materials and workmanship meet applicable standards, drawings, and specifications. This position with be on site 5 days a week, for 4-8 hours a day. This is a 3-6 month contract. ## Key Responsibilities Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating). In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection. Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages. Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects. Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent. Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan. Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, delivery details by Data Center site.
