This position supports manufacturing operations by identifying nonconforming material, accurately documenting inspection results, and escalating quality concerns as appropriate. Work is performed under close supervision using established procedures and guidelines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Other duties may be assigned. * Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and products in accordance with drawings, specifications, and procedures. * Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and inspection criteria to determine acceptance or rejection. * Measure product characteristics using basic measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers. * Record inspection results accurately and enter required data into quality or manufacturing systems. * Identify, document, and report nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures. * Apply acceptance or rejection labels as required. * Notify supervisors and appropriate personnel of quality issues and assist with basic problem identification. * Prepare inspection, rejection, and first article documentation as assigned. * Support efforts to minimize rework, scrap, and product
