What They're Looking For.
Must Have
GD&T Experience Required, Experience with inspection equipment such as - Mics, Calipers, Opticals, and Micro heights, Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication, Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, High school diploma or GED required, Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language, Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables, U. S. persons—defined as U. S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U. S. nationals—are eligible for this position
Nice to Have
Aerospace experience OR AS9100, Lean Manufacturing is a plus, 5+ years preferred experience and /or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
What You'll Do.
First Article Inspection
ensures product conformity to establish requirements by evaluating product to customer and Engineering drawings
and other related documents
Coordinates the receiving
in-process and final product inspections
documents results in various reports and logs in the Quality System Network
Work and adhere to quality management systems and requirements (i. e.
Assists Engineering and Manufacturing in the investigation of non-conformities
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following guidelines and procedures and complying with all applicable regulations
Performs other duties as assigned
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Assists Engineering and Manufacturing in the investigation of non-conformities; Ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
Communication Scope
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language; Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner
