Minimum of at least 2 years of experience in shipbuilding, NDT qualifications required: Visual Inspection Level &II (SNT-TC-1A Level II)
Nice to Have
NDT qualifications strongly preferred: Ultrasonic (UT) and radiographic testing (RT) Level I&II (SNT-TC-1A Level II)
What You'll Do.
Responsible for the direction of Quality Inspectors and all quality assurance functions for production related activities
Assist in the administration
including implementation and maintenance to regulatory quality requirements & standards for production departments
Monitoring performance according to quality standards
working with production foreman and supervisors to communicate and address the issues
Performing non destructive tests
including visual inspections (VT) magnetic particle (MT)
liquid penetrant (PT)
ultrasonic (UT) and radiographic testing (RT)
This position is required to perform inspections
Assist in identifying & implementing projects that improve overall production quality
Assist in the development & implementation of quality metrics
Assist Quality Technicians
as required to support production

**TITLE:** Quality Inspection Supervisor **REPORTS TO:** Quality Foreman **SUPERVISES:** Quality Inspectors **AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Responsible for the direction of Quality Inspectors and all quality assurance functions for production related activities. * Assist in auditing; the administration, including implementation and maintenance to regulatory quality requirements & standards for production departments. * Monitoring performance according to quality standards, working with production foreman and supervisors to communicate and address the issues. * Performing non destructive tests, including visual inspections (VT) magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), ultrasonic (UT) and radiographic testing (RT).
