Jabil is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Technician to work in our Richardson, TX plant. We have needs for candidates for both 2nd and 3rd shifts! The hours for 2nd and 3rd shifts are as follows: * **_2nd shift is Monday-Friday 3pm-1130pm_** * ** _3rd shift is Monday-Friday 1130pm-8am_** **How will you make an impact?** As a Quality Technician with Jabil, you will ensure products and processes meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation, supporting a culture of continuous improvement. **What will you do?** * Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to specifications and control plans. * Conduct various quality tests using precision measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators). * Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including non-conformances and corrective actions. * Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming materials; initiate and track disposition activities. * Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required. * Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to calibration schedules. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
