What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree and related experience, 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing (Operations, Supply Chain) with focus on quality, Quality/food safety programs including HACCP, SSOP, Integrated Pest Management, FDA cGMP, TPM/UMS, analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Quality Systems and methodologies such as CAPA, RCA, Regulatory, Management of Change (MOC), Holds, Product Release, SQF, BRC, or similar GFSI scheme
Nice to Have
Programming proficiency – Power BI, MS Office tools, SAP/ERP, SharePoint, Statistics experience – SPC knowledge, Previous experience leading teams in manufacturing with direct people management responsibility, Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with minimal guidance, Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Full Job Description
**JOB PURPOSE** The Independence Quality Engineering Supervisor ensures that the manufacturing process and finished products meet all regulatory requirements, as well as customer and company standards for food safety and food quality. This role involves optimizing processes, digitizing operations, conducting Kaizens, and implementing innovations related to quality and plant initiatives. The position reports to the site Quality Manager and supports continuous improvement with a focus on food safety. We invite you to be part of something bigger. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop, lead, and drive optimization and Kaizens related to top plant and quality losses. * Maintains, develops, and uses operational knowledge of various IT support systems used for Quality applications. * Define Statistical Process Control methods for use in setting targets and limits for operational areas. * Supports innovation funnel activities within the supply chain. Works with internal and external customers of the innovation. * Direct Management of 8 QA Technicians. * Support training and development needs for Quality Technicians related to quality programs. * Lead data collection, analysis, and assignment to standard Quality loss trees in support of operational KPIs reporting. * Implement and verify site calibration and maintenance program for inspection, measuring and testing equipment. Coordinate performance of lab equipment capability studies. * Quality Pillar activities in UMS and provide additional technical expertise to the plant for trouble shooting quality issues. * Utilizes SAP QM and Unilever specifications including SAP PLM & ECC and supports verification of use for quality purposes. * Supports the implementation and verification of procedures to control non-conforming materials and products. * Supports / participates in structured quality impr
