Must Have
Bachelors degree + 5-6 years of related experience, Some previous supervisory experience, Training in IPC-A-610, Training in ISO17025, Training in other relevant industry standards and specifications
What You'll Do.
and review all activities of the Quality Laboratory Technicians
Ensure needs of internal and external Customers are being met
interview and hire Quality Technicians
Create and/or validate training curriculum
Establish clear measurable goals and objectives
Provide ongoing coaching and counseling
Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve
Coordinate activities of teams
Create appropriate Quality Technicians schedules
Participate Testing requirements per current Jabil structure
Train and evaluate various customer requirements
Calibration and all testing in Quality Lab on site
Provide appropriate training to the QT’s personnel
Backfill the role of a Quality Technicians when issues arises
Collect and monitor Lab KPI’s data
Monitor Jabil process health by performing periodic process audits
Coordinate 5S audits with the Quality Lab
Periodic personnel performance review and composition
Quality Lab work output monitoring
Provide support in the field of inspection questions and problems
Adhere to all Quality and EHS rules and regulations
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

Team & Collaboration
Solicit ongoing feedback from Functional Managers, Quality Engineers, Workcell managers, peers and team members; Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department; Ask encourage input from staff; Coordinate activities of teams and keep them focused in times of crises; Provide support in the field of inspection questions and problems; Promote total involvement of all personnel in their daily duties

JOB SUMMARY Direct, coordinate, and review all activities of the Quality Laboratory Technicians and responsible for the MSA, SPC, Calibration and Quality Lab testing overall, to ensure the needs of internal and external Customers are being met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment and Retention: · Recruit, interview and hire Quality Technicians, Lab Testing (Cross section, CMM Measurements, Tecsa Lab Measurements, Microscopic evaluation and Calibration. · Communicate criteria to recruiters for Quality Technicians position candidates. · Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements. Employee and Team Development: · Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis. · Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility. Performance Management: · Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals). · Solicit ongoing feedback from Functiona Managers, Quality Engineers, Workcell managers, peers and team members on team member’s contribution to the team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member
