Our expansive defense portfolio is aligned with U.S. military priorities and our mission of “equipping those who defend freedom.” We are also “revolutionizing the way to space” by supporting the return of humans to the Moon and NASA's deep space exploration programs. Our team in Space and Defense is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join them. You will report to the Quality Assurance Engineer Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA. To be considered for the Quality Assurance Engineer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: * Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field OR Bachelor's degree with relative work experience in a manufacturing environment OR an associate degree with 3 years of related experience. * Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment preferred. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will: * Work with and maintain confidential information. * Utilize word processing, database, and enterprise information systems software. Proficiency in Microsoft Suites is beneficial. * Be a self-starter as an individual and function efficiently in a team-based manufacturing environment. * Work on motion control and electronic components * Perform document review pertaining to contract, industry, and other regulatory flow
