BS Technical Degree or Equivalent in directly related experience, 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment in a Quality Engineer capacity, Complete knowledge of automotive APQP/PPAP processes, Excellent verbal & written communication skills, Have a command of problem-solving techniques such as 8-D, 5 why, Fishbone, etc., Significant knowledge of IATF-16949, Experience creating and leading FMEA & Control Plans, Able to supervise & lead subordinates, Statistical abilities, & understanding of gage R&R’s, capability studies, Conduct yourself as a professional quality engineer
What You'll Do.
Coordinates quality planning including control plans

Track the resolution of non-conforming material & disposition of the same
Perform gage R&R and train others to do the same
Coordinate machine capability studies
Maintain control plans & FMEA’s
Participate in change management for the plant
Develop & conduct training programs for shop floor operators on quality duties
