What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field, Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a quality engineering role, Proven track record using structured problem-solving methodologies, Knowledge of quality management systems, organizational and project management skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Effectively operate in cross-functional teams, Ability to communicate with multiple cultures/regions, high-level of self-motivation, ownership, sense of urgency, comfortable making recommendations across broad teams, Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement, communication skills, demonstrated ability to construct and present information, comfortable in demanding accountability, open to receive constructive feedback
Nice to Have
ASQ Certified CQE, Certified in structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, Red X/Shainin, Kepner-Tregoe, etc., Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software experience, Previous experience as internal auditor

**What you will do** Within Johnson Controls’ Data Center Solutions group, you will be responsible for driving the execution of quality goals and objectives by proactively driving actions to meet internal and external customer expectations for quality. You will work cross-functionally to identify causes of potential product/ process failures and drive corrective and preventative actions internally and/ or with suppliers and customers as needed. Using sound audit techniques and statistical tools, you will identify high-leverage continuous improvement projects to elevate the organization’s quality delivery to our customers. Help us drive customer wins and be a part of a team that believes that through teamwork, leadership, and collaboration - anything is possible. **How you will do it** __External Quality Performance - Customer Focus:__ * Monitor and analyze assigned Customer KPIs, including, but not limited, commissioning, Incomplete Work Orders (IWOs) and warranty processes to define the top offenders. * Work with cross-functional teams to investigate the KPI’s top offenders, guiding and assisting the team during the Problem-Solving process to ensure the true root cause is found. * Follow up the progress of the open Problem-Solving projects in the assigned product lines until proper closure. * Guide and assist the operations and quality control teams to implement robust containment activities for the assigned product lines when receiving customer quality complaints. * Be the company’s representative before our customers to report on the status of the open actions/projects for the assigned product lines. * Update the dashboards (electronic and physical) and report out files for the assigned product lines with the appropriate frequency to ensure the latest information is displayed. __Internal Quality Performance – Internal Processes Focus:__ * Monitor and analyze assigned pro
