The Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintains quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization. This position will be working closely to the 3PL warehouse to improve quality issues and increase efficiency about material claiming processes. **What a typical day looks like:** * Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost. * Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. * Managing customer quality complaints related to 3PL handled materials * Assessing and approving supplier process control plans, qualifications, and effectiveness * Leading inventory at risk management, MRB participation, and non-conformance investigations. * Conducting supplier Quality System audits and driving improvement plans * Owning corrective and preventive actions (CAR / SCAR) through closure * Monitoring and reporting supplier performance metrics and KPIs * Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, Flex policies, and regulatory requirements * Leading continuous improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and variation * Supporting Product Engineering and Quality leadership in customer and audit interactions. * Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion
