Must Have
Solid understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental compliance, Level 1 Award Training, CSCS certification for construction sites, Triple Bar Nuclear New Build qualification, NVQ qualification in a relevant field
What You'll Do.
Conduct field and lab tests on concrete and aggregates
Ensure compliance with ASTM
Analyse data and produce detailed reports
Inspect raw materials
Monitor deliveries and verify against specifications
Guide junior technicians and review test results
Share technical expertise and training
Maintain accurate logs
Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards
Actively report near misses and ensure safe working practices
Collaborate with contractors and quality managers
Conduct site visits and sample collection
Uphold the EDF Code of Conduct for Sizewell C
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety
and Quality procedures
Liaise with contractors and internal teams to meet customer expectations
Report any defects or issues affecting product quality or safety
Maintain site cleanliness
and professional standards
Support investigations into product issues and site practices
Challenge unsafe or non-compliant behaviours
Transport test specimens as required
