What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 year minimum industry experience, High proficiency using a 10x loupe and microscope for extended periods, Deep understanding of jewelry construction, including soldering, laser welding, and various setting styles, Knowledge of GIA/IGI grading standards and precious metal tolerances, Ability to spot microscopic flaws
What You'll Do.
Inspect all pieces at various stages of production
Verify security of all stones
Inspect metal finishing for defects
Check structural integrity of components
Confirm metal fineness stamps and trademarks
Perform In-Process QC during wax/casting
Compare finished product against CAD renderings
Verify stones match parcel specifications
Maintain logs of common failures
Communicate reasons for rejection
Oversee re-work process
