What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate degree, in related field, with 5 years of mechanical inspection experience, 7 years of mechanical inspection experience in manufacturing environment, Mechanical Inspection skills required, Knowledge of CMM operation and Programming, Experience with reading and understanding complex engineering drawings, Knowledge of PLM, PDM, and configuration control process, Knowledge of Costpoint or similar ERP system, Experience working in a quality team environment with suppliers, engineers and program managers, Knowledge and experience in CMM operation and programming, Blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14. 5 standard, complex Inspection methods, familiarity with material behavior, Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, calipers, micrometers, and height gage, Ability to work with minimal oversight, Dependable candidate with verifiable work history, Proficient in use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures, Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Management Systems, Experience with basic mechanical and dimensional inspection

Inspect incoming fabricated metalwork and assemblies
Perform in-process and final inspection
Document inspection results
Prepare nonconformance reports
Conduct incoming inspection of mechanical assemblies
Log inspection results to track metrics
Document and process nonconforming parts
Support first piece and first article inspection
Create material return notices
Conduct internal audits
